  • Lego offers interested parties the chance to sleep in the Lego house in Denmark.

The Danish company has teamed up with Airbnb, which mediates in renting apartments, to allow the family to sleep in their new 12,000-square-meter building filled with 25 million colored plastic cubes.
In the parents' room there is a Lego cat, slippers, coffee pots and newspapers, all made of dice. In the children's room are the Lego Bear and a storybook. Above the child's bed is a six meter high waterfall from the Lego Dice, while the pool below is filled with dice.
Design Manager at Leg Jamie Berard said he usually makes products that can be bought at the store, but this was "a wonderful challenge".
"To do something like this exaggerated waterfall or to make a bedroom from something that is not really a place to live is a wonderful experience," Berard said.
Those who want to sleep in the Lego house have to sign up and describe what they would do if they had infinitely many Lego cubes. During the stay in the Lego home, the winner will have the chance to make his idea under the supervision of the expert.
The Lego House was opened in late September after four years of making it. The attraction is located in Bilund, a small Danish town where Lego's headquarters are located.
In the center of the building is a 15-meter-high wood from the Lego Dice, called the "Tree of Creativity" for which there were 24,000 working hours. Made of six million dice, the tree follows the gradual evolution of the Leg's creations.
The competition starts today and will last until mid-November. The winner's family will visit the Lego House on November 24th.
This is not the first Airbnb's sleeping contest in a special place last year to invite interested to sleep next to a shark pool in the Paris aquarium, as well as in Dracula's castle in Romania.
